Best of all, time is the great consoler. When we lose those we love, we feel that the sun has set for us. We find no cheer in anything, no interest. No words, sympathy, philosophy lighten our sorrow. Nothing can help but time. For it has been mercifully ordained that the wound must heal and the ache grows less poignant. Time brings us fresh interests, other joys, duties to other people, work that absorbs us, and so by degrees turns the grief into a sorrow that can be borne. Blessed be time that heals us.

Welcome to Ballarat!

Last night, we were driving home from work. And, just out of the CBD, we were driving through a roundabout, we saw a ute with a trailer full of sheep! Hahaha...I thought it was the most hilarious thing in the world. I have never ever EVER seen a trailer full of sheep just within 2 kilometers from where I live. Definitely nothing like that up in Sydney, or Parramatta...let alone Mount Druitt. I told some of the people at work and I think they must think I'm strange or which planet have I been living in??...but yes...that's to say: Welcome to Ballarat!

I MAY NOT BE A REAL PERSON

Now, that I've got a new job, I have suddenly realised that the time will come when I don't get to have this much time on the internet anymore, especially to read other peoples' blogs. I enjoy reading them, and I'll miss reading them just whenever I want. I also have gone to revisit the sites I haven't had the chance to read for a while. Well, when I do read them, I get into this illusion that the person who had written them may not be real. Only when I saw one of my favourite authors make comment and say something in their Facebook status did it make me realise that the concept of him/her being real person becomes all so real...with a husband and children. It somehow made them come to life. So, I wonder, do people reading my blog get into the illusion that I may not be a real person?

Hmmm?

I don't know what to write about.

XAVIER DWAYNE NIELSEN

My son was born on Thurs, 16 April 2009, 1:40pm...the same day Chris and I were moving down to Ballarat (by car). He was 22 weeks old, too young to survive. We named him Xavier Dwayne Nielsen. I love him with all my heart. And, I miss him dearly. We had the funeral on Fri, 24 April 2009...one of the saddest days of my life, but the happiest at the same time. We're happy because we know he has fulfilled his mission here. He came here to just gain a body of flesh and bones. But, no matter how much I understand about the plan of happiness, it can never take away my feeling of missing him as a mother. I pray that I will be worthy enough to get the opportunity to raise him up again in the eternities...

I'll make the time later on to tell you stories.

WINTER BABY

Thousands of doctor's appointments. I made a chart spreadsheet of all my pregnancy doctor's appointments with description, location, and which doctor I have the appointment with. I showed it to my mum and dad and told them that's more than the doctor trips I've ever had in my entire life before Christmas Eve 2008! Shows you how often (or "misoften") I go to the doctors.

When I was younger, I rarely get sick, and now I'm constantly sick, my body is not used to it!

Just gets me down, even down now...coz they found "something" in my blood test which I have to see the specialist for. That means....additional appointments!

Anyway, due date is around 14 Aug...winter baby.

For this reason, I forced myself to go to the doctors...just to make sure.

Dr said it's very hard to disprove.

Went back for results on Christmas Day, and it was confirmed 41,000 IU/L of hcG in my blood...making me 7-8wks already!

There you go...MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS and it will be a NEW YEAR!

Due end of July...beginning of Aug!

GUESS WHAT TIME I WENT TO BED!

Why couldn't I??? Why couldn't I keep up with updating this blog??? How could I?(might be a more appropriate question)...

Anyhow, here's another photo from our wedding, which I have edited and processed. Believe it or not, that photo is fake...It came from 3 separate shoots! Hihihhi...Talent, huh? I would put a 4th photo, so I could insert in the Australian Flag on the flagpole otherwise, I'll repost and digitally remove the flagpole because it's killing the wedding scene...WELL, AFTER ALL WE GOT MARRIED ON QUEEN ELIZABETH'S BIRTHDAY! Counting 5 months on 7 Nov. I lost count until I was asked by the Temple President's wife last Friday when she asked me "how long have you been married now."....In front of her, I counted June, July, Aug, Sep, Oct...then I said "a bit more than 4 months now!!!"

Time taken for editing the above photo: 5 hours...last Friday after coming home from the Temple...then, guess what time I went to bed!

THESE TWO ARE VERY GOOD BUDDIES. THEY WENT ON THE SAME MISSION, WERE FLAT-MATES IN THE PHILIPPINES AND THE PANK-RADE, & BOTH FEEL LIKE HOLLYWOOD STARS ON THIS SHOT.
